Privacy policy
- The free
<ai-face>embed runs entirely in the browser. It sends nothing about your users to us or anyone else. - Our website uses no analytics, no advertising and no cookies.
- If you claim a character, we keep your email, payment ID, character and domains, so your key works and you can manage it.
- We never sell personal data. Write to us any time to see, correct or delete yours.
1. Who we are
VIKAS DATTATRAY IPAR runs TaamToom (https://taamtoom.com) and is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: hello.vikasip@gmail.com, A/P KASARI TALUKA NANDGAON (23106) NASHIK, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA..
2. What we collect, and why
When you visit our website
Like every website, our host receives standard request information when pages load: IP address, browser and device details, the page requested and the time. It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems, and is kept only briefly. We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies, and our fonts are served from our own site.
When the embed runs on someone's site
The free embed works out each character in the visitor's browser. The only time it reaches us is when the page downloads the script itself; we count those downloads by the website's address and the day, so we know which sites use it, and keep nothing about the visitor. A claimed character is different in one more way: when the page loads, the browser asks our servers whether the key may be used on that website. That request carries the website's address and the standard request information above, and nothing the visitor types or says. Images loaded from our image API (for example in emails) work the same way. When someone follows a free character's credit link to us, we count that visit by the website it came from, and nothing else about them. When we email someone a link to their character, the link carries a short code, and we note when it's opened, by that code only.
If you put a character on your own site, your site's privacy notice is yours to write; for the embed, this section describes everything that reaches us.
When you claim a character
Dodo Payments collects your payment details and billing information as Merchant of Record; we never see your card. From them we receive your email and payment ID, and we store those with your key, your character and the domains you list. We use them to issue and run your claim, let you manage it, answer you, and keep the records that tax and accounting rules require.
When you give us a website
To show the character that suits a website, we read that site's public home page and logo once, look up public facts about the company (Wikipedia, Wikidata and, when those say little, a web search), and an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) describes the brand from them. We keep the website's address and the character we made for it, so it looks the same next time, and we may write to that company once about it. Nothing about you is kept with it, and we count how many sites each visitor tries per day only to stop abuse.
When you ask for the code by email
We keep your email and the character you looked at, to send you the code and, at most, one follow-up. No mailing list.
When you contact us or book a call
We keep what you send us (your name, email, company and message) to reply and, if we work together, to do that work.
3. Our legal grounds
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we process personal data to perform our contract with you (running your claim), to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and for our legitimate interests in running a secure, working service and replying to messages.
5. How long we keep it
- Claim records: for as long as the claim exists, then as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Request logs: kept briefly by our host for security and troubleshooting.
- Emails and call notes: for as long as we need them to help you, usually no more than two years after our last contact.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to how we use it. Email hello.vikasip@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month, as data protection law requires. We may need to confirm it's you first, and we keep what tax and accounting rules oblige us to. Deleting the data a claim runs on ends that claim; that alone doesn't make it refundable (see our refund policy). You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, access is limited to what's needed, and payment details stay with Dodo Payments. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.
8. Children
TaamToom is a tool for businesses and isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and email claim owners about changes that affect them.
